This was my first time on the Carnival Freedom. I found myself going in circles literally...the floor plan was not the greatest. I wanted to go to the serenity deck and couldn't because I was unable to climb all the stairs. For the younger guests, all the stairs didn't bother them, but for the older ones, it was a pain. All of the staff was very personable! They were very eager to please each guest. Our room was adorable....plenty of lighting and storage. I loved having a large window.Trist was our stateroom steward and he was outstanding! Malcolm, the cruise director, made the cruise so much fun. He was up early in the morning doing Morning Shows, during the day at events, and then at late night events....when does this guy sleep? He was awesome.....and so funny! As for as eats....guys burgers and the burrito/taco bar was a big hit......BUT the food at buffet was not good. There was not the variety I have seen on other cruise ships. I will say that there were a lot of activities throughout each day for all ages. We went to the breakfast with the cat in the hat and it was so much fun! The characters came to each table to have their picture taken with each guest young And old. I had steak and eggs and it was the best meal ever!

I will say that overall, this trip was very relaxing and enjoyable!
