Excellent from word go.Lovely comfortable ship, plenty to do,good entertainment, great cinema, comfortable cabin and excellent food.Liked it so much that upon return,we immediately booked for a 14 day to the Canary Islands on October 20th. Had some great ports of call in Italy, visited Sicily,Sardinia and loved Portofino.Cannot praise it enough.Went last year on the Arcadia 17 night to Corfu,Croatia Venice.Cant wait to book our 2016 P@O CRUISE
We traveled to Southampton by rail and from which, with a railcard ,it only cost £26.40 from our home town Weston-super-mare to Southampton.A journey of around Two and a half hours
The ship provided a daily news letter of activities ,talks ,cinema times and all you need to know for life on board.
We chose this ship (also the Arcadia)as they are both adult only which is our preference. There were all age groups on board .
Entertainment is good but you can choose to go or do exactly as you please. The peninsula restaurant was excellent and where you can choose your time of dining. The Observatory is non-stop Buffet restaurant self serve with excellent food.So much to do on board.Liked Tiffany lounge which is the piano bar at night, also the Lords Tavern. On sea days, weather permitting, there are deck activities.Again,as I say ,its up to the individual if they want to take part.Me,I like the sun deck with my Kindle! and the cinema. We chose to disembark ourselves and with the train connection, was home at midday. The cabin, although an inside one was very comfortable with TV and we could make drinks.Although having said that, you can get tea and cffee at anytime from the Buffet restaurant
Comfortable cabin kept spotlessly clean
