I will say that the cabin steward was good as was our waiter. But The San Juan Pier check in is horrible!!! We stood in line about an hour, it was extremely hot, and I almost passed out from the heat, no seats, and no water offered to us. You no longer get towel animals on the bed every night, now they do it every other night. One night on the menu the chef recommendation was Prime Rib, they didn't even have it to offer us. People showed up at the formal night to the dining room dressed like slobs. They should go to the Windjammer if they want casual. I felt like Royal doesn't care about how people show up at the dining room. Low class people I can tell you that.

Johnny Rockets was a total disaster. We were the first ones in and seated and the last ones to leave from the first group. My order was wrong, the waiter was terrible, the food not as good as in the past. We were in there for an hour and annoyed the whole time. The logo shop didn't have that much to offer as other ships. The shows were just ok. They had the wrong people singing the songs by certain artists. The ice show was spectacular though. Do not miss that show!

The Windjammer was just ok this time. Breakfast was not a problem other than it took forever to get eggs made. But lunch was another disaster. They have spicy foods, and cheesy foods. Some of us can't eat those foods for health reasons. They should have chicken every day either, roasted or grilled. Breakfast potatoes should not have spices or cheese on them. After paying thousands to cruise we had to resort to hot dogs, burgers, and pizza for lunch. Not what I payed for Royal.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Our cabin was on the 6th deck. I liked the location because it was right around the corner from the elevators, and we could walk down 1 deck to the shops and the Royal Promenade. The balcony had two chairs and a round table. We always have our breakfast delivered to our balcony one day during every cruise. It's lovely. The cabin was very clean, and we always had plenty of towels. However, we did lose our hot water one day, and the toilet didn't flush one day.
