Just returned from my first and last "River Cruise". We spent more hours on busses than ships.

The low water levels in the Danube has been an issue for months. Viking management has been aware of it yet continues to lie to the passengers. Even when many of us contacted Viking the day before we were scheduled to cruise, they continued to say no problems, no ship changes, no busses.

We were slated to be on the Njord. A week before we received an email switching us to the Freya. Day 3 we were bussed to Passau because the Freya could not leave Regensburg. Day 4 we were told we had to switch ships so we were bussed 4 hours to Melk to get on the Njord. I day after that we were told the Njord couldn't move and we were being bussed 4 hours to Budapest! Then in Budapest they put us in the Marriott!!!!
