Got offered a deal on Disney Wonder East Bound Panama Cruise 23 Nov 2015 - bit worried as I am not a great lover of Disney - or children - perhaps that's why I have a Grumpy T shirt. My wife wanted to go - so off we went. Had a good few days in San Diego visiting the Zoo etc - (stay near the cruise terminal - those hills are a killer). Easy boarding and check in. Cabin really nice. Staff onboard were amazing - from the Entertainment staff, Singers and Dancers, Cabin Hosts and Servers who were all brilliant. The entertainment was second to none but things seemed to die down after 1130 - after all it was a Disney cruise. Cabo San Lucas was OK just did a little tour around the harbour and had lunch. Puerto Vallarta was really nice - we did a beach break at Paradise Beach club - which was excellent. The Panama canal was interesting. Next stop Cartagena - as I remembered it from the 80's. Nothing there to enthral me. Just had a walk around the old town. everyone who did a tour said it was not very good. Cozumel was the last stop - did a beach break there which was ok. Not the best but good enough. All the themed parties onboard were of a great standard - Pirate night, Frozen night, Halloween etc. They put a lot of effort into everything they do. Overall had a really good time - not as relaxing as I would have liked as my wife dragged me off to every class there was going. Would I do another one. My wife tells me I would. So that's that then.
very clean and tidy - half a bath not much good for adults but I should imagine great for children. Loads of storage space.
just had a walk around the harbour - did not have a lot of time in port
Very poor excursions offered - only found one cafe open in the old Town - not a place I would recommend = unfortunately we are going back there on another cruise next month
