Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8C

Cabin I had was very cozy. As I always get balcony rooms. When I do a cruise. I enjoy the fact that Carnival has the largest rooms vs other cruise lines. Room was very clean. I enjoyed my couch. Bed was so comfy. Amazing hot water that stayed hot all the time. Water flow was like what you experience on land. no difference. Really great. I enjoyed the animal towels on the bed every night with the next day "Fun Times" there as well. Service from Cabin Steward was truly amazing. I could not have asked for anything more. Truly a great experience.

Port Reviews

Miami

Been through this port many times. Not much to say other then its well organized to start and end your cruise. Easy to find. Easy to get transport to leave port to airport or anywhere. Or easy to get to to start your cruise. Traffic seems to be well coordinated to make sure congestion is low.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

This is Carnival's newest port in Dominican Republic. It is quite the sight to see. Have to admit being one of the early people to see it. Not all the stores were there yet. But very attractive to what is offered. As a good spot to start or end your day of touring. It is very secure. As it is away from any town or city. Good security getting into. As you don't have to worry about any bad people coming in port, very safe. Seems they really put a lot into this area. You get the bars and restaurants and the waterslide. Good spot for also people who have no desire to do an excursion. They have a nice area to come and relax and spend the day in the area off the cruise ship. I overall thought it was good port and was impressed.
