The cruise wasn't terrible but I didn't feel like it was the best I've had. We had 13 people total and 2 of those are babies under 2 years old. There wasn't many good choices at the buffet for the babies. I made sure to email and call Carnival to see if they had lactose free whole milk. I was told twice that they had it. My sister also emailed and got the same answer. I wouldn't have minded bringing on the milk if needed. When we requested the lactose free whole milk the staff was confused and said they had lactose free milk but didn't know if it was whole milk. To me it wasn't white enough to be full fat. It looked to be 2% or 1%. My son didn't eat well the entire cruise and he didn't have the right milk. This experience was disappointing to me.

We stayed on the the 8th deck in the back starboard side balcony. The balcony was great to hang the swim suits out to dry. The room was clean and Adolf did a great job. The room decor hasn't changed at all since the first time we took the Paradise. It seemed rather out dated and the furniture seemed worn out. The couch cushions were worn out slouchy looking. The whole room vibrated at all times and the safe clanged along with it. The tv was the same. Old box version. I would expect a flat screen at least! The water was brown quite often in our state room sink which concerned me since I had to wash my child's drink cups. I ended up taking them to the hot water machine to rinse them out. They did give us 2 large bottles of water free to rinse as well which was nice. The toilet didn't always flush and then sometimes it flushed for 3 minutes straight. The ship seems to be worn out.

The burger joint and burrito place was a nice addition. The food in the dinning room was good but the service was super slow!! It took us nearly 2 hours to get through dinner. With 2 - under 2 yrs old it was HELL!! We didn't want to hurt our wait team's feeling so we just kept quiet. She wasn't very pleasant. On our last night I had the navy bean soup and it had a red thread in it. I told her and she said "what do you want me to do about it?" I was like "really?" I said just take it please and that I didn't want it.
