Always good to cruise with Viking, having said that this was our ninth cruise with Viking with another two booked for 2016. This cruise was slightly interrupted because of river water levels but nothing too serious and did not cause us to change ships. Cabins are excellent, clean and adequate for their purpose. The overall appearance of the ship was good and gave a warm and comfortable feeling as you moved around. Restaurant area was first class as was the food and particularly the wine. The overall itinerary was satisfactory bearing in mind the various countries this cruise took us through. The Danube between Budapest and Bucharest is not at it's best, far better further north. Muddy appearance to the water and banks mainly trees. Staff on the ship were always very helpful and greeted guests whenever passing you. We had a few issues which we fed through to Viking guest services, who always respond and clearly appreciate feedback from clients. More emphasis by Viking to ensure clients use antibacterial hand gel/sanitizers which are situated at the entrance to the restaurant and by embark/disembark points. Many people ignored these. One other point we made was to bring to Viking's attention the few selfish people who made it their endeavour to occupy the front seats on coaches on every trip. Viking expect clients to share seating on coaches and does not have any form of policy to reserve seats. Now looking forward to being with Viking again in 2016.
