We have been on several ocean cruises and have enjoyed many aspects of them, but this cruise was the best overall.
The ship was spacious with many areas where you could go relax and have some quiet time or visit with friends. The rooms were spacious, quiet and had good storage space.
Crew members always said hello whether they were just passing by you in a hall or working in an area. When we lingered after a delicious meal talking to new friends and the crew were cleaning up, they would insist that we could stay as long as we wanted.
If you went to any area more than once they would remember you and your name.
The meals were wonderful . Our favorite place became the cafeteria since it was open for longer periods of time and we could eat have friends come in and sit and visit with them while they ate. Once I was just wanting a very simple salad and the chef immediately produced one.
The entertainment was great. One of the best were the musicians who moved to different areas to perform without becoming obtrusive. All of them were very talented.
The shore excursions were well planned. When on one excursion involving a train ride the train employees went on strike, the trip went on buses without any delay.
I could go on and on. But I will end with this. It didn't matter whether you were in the least expensive room or the most expensive room, the crew treated the passengers the same.
