I've been on how many Royal Caribbean cruises, but this one was terrible. I will never go on another ship that is less than 5 stars. This ship Enchantment of The Seas, in my opinion, does not uphold the standard of Royal Caribbean. I would never go on the ship again even if it was free.

FIRST THE GOOD:

* Our cabin attendant was very sweet & attentive.

Cabin Review

Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

* Smaller than most

* bathroom smells, dirty.

* needs deep cleaning

* needs pointing up of paint & small repairs

* needs current artwork & updated wall paper.

It's hard to believe they say that the ship underwent a complete renovation already!

Port Reviews

Nassau

* shopping is very minimal (1 street) and quite a lot of hard looking poor people pushing their wares. Chinese made junk goods & some fine jewelry. Straw items. That's it.

* It was not that safe looking even in the daytime. Stay on the Main Street right in the middle of where all the tourists are and do not venture off.

* Safety: I cannot imagine it at night. I would recommend staying on the cruise ship at night do not take a chance.

*Pay attention to the US Travel advisories monitoring safety in the Bahamas... At the time of this sailing, they were cautioning Americans regarding mostly non-violent crimes (theft) in the Bahamas against American Tourists.

* If you go to the fish fry, be prepared to spend 25 to $30 per person for your entree, and very, very aggressive shop owners are clamoring for your dollar.

* cab drivers and tour operators expect you to bargain on the prices of transportation. Always tip these people because they are relatively poor and rely on tourists to make all their money.
