This was our second sailing on a Royal Caribbean ship. Our first was last year on Explorer.
Overall we loved the ship, thought it was in great condition and had a lot to offer. This was the biggest ship we have ever sailed on and I have to say I think we would not sail on anything larger than this. If you were at one end of the ship and had to get to the opposite end you could tell how large it is. Also the ice rink on Deck 3 cuts up the deck so you can't get across if you are forward on Deck 3 you will need to go up to Deck 4 (Deck 4 has the casino where they allow smoking so if you want to avoid that you will need to go up to deck 5) or Deck 5 to cut across and then go back down to deck 3.
This was a 10 night Bermuda/Caribbean cruise. We only booked it because good friends of ours who we met on a cruise were booked on it and RCCL has these great BOGO sails. We got a great price so decided to go.
We love these inside Promenade rooms. So sad the new news do not have these. The window out to the promenade makes the room look so much bigger and you get two couches in your room. We would always book this category if we could.
Since they built the new terminal and now the new parking garage is open, Cape Liberty is wonderful to cruise from since we only live 58 miles away and driving and parking at the port is way cheaper than flying anywhere.
We were in Bermuda in May and got rained on and again this year we get off the ship and 20 minutes later it starts raining. We just ended up staying in the Dockyard.
WE didn't even get here until 1:30 PM and could not get off the ship until 2:00 PM. So we did not even get off at this stop.
We went to Paradise Point on our own. We had a Bushwacker (alcoholic drink) when we got to the top. Views are beautiful.
We just walked around and were bothered by so many locals wanting to sell us tours, beach chairs, give us coupons to go shopping. It was not this bad last time I was there. Next time I think we will book an excursion to get us away from the ship. It was terrible.
