This cruise was a repo cruise from new York to fort Lauderdale. We booked our own air (lga). We purchased the princess transfers. They were waiting for us right at the baggage claim. I was very happy with the transfer . no stress. we got to the port around 1pm . we are platinum so we got in that line wait was maybe 10 to 15 min. we prepaid for every thing but we wished we had not prepaid for the pop cup. we had to fight to get our cups . its a long story but a day and a half of talking to and calling and almost begging I cancelled and got my money back and my husband finally got a cup. we weren't the only ones. I guess they ran out of the prepaid cups . they still had some but they wanted to save them to sell to new customers. so next time we will buy them from a bartender (ive been told you get better service by that bartender) . the deal with having a cup is if you don't they give you a small glass and you cant carry a glass around the pool.

so we booked the lowest cabin and was offered a upsell for 178 more per person, we refused but we got upgraded to a balony cabin anyway but it was under the bridge at first I worried about the walk because this is a very big ship. but it was fine. the room was very nice the ship is beautiful, the buffet is huge the food very good . try alfredo {its free} try the stuffed pasta. the ocean terrace is elicart but they do have some seafood free with purchase of wine. international café is shrimp, salads. desert ect. if you love coffee and gelato get the coffee punch card [34$] . we went to the crown grill . very nice.

they have cut back their entertainment. the piazza has mostly classical music [violins] the show were packed and they added a show so 3 showing a night but unless you wanted to watch the mets game not much else. reg karoke once in ten days , really. they had that lame voice contest. they had it the first 2 day then on the last day. at least with pop star the had the contest 5 nights in a 7 day. that is what my husband likes to do on his vacation. and although we had a good time. we will try to find a ship with a karoke bar or better program. getting off the ship was easy and they do have ez baggage if you have a late flight and want to enjoy fort lasuderdale
