Sail Date: Oct 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

I sailed on Oasis for the first time in October. My previous cruises have all been on Explorer of the Seas, a ship I truly love. I shared my cabin with my sister-in-law, who has never cruised before. There were 6 other people in our group bringing the total to 8. We had the 8:30 dinner seating which was really tight for some of the 10:30 shows. We booked a few shows before dinner- Oasis Dreams, which is the diving show in the Aqua Theater and not to be missed, and Come Fly With me, which was entertaining.

Embarkation: very smooth and organized. We only waited about 20 minutes before we were allowed onboard.

Cabin: We had a balcony cabin on Deck 11. Our cabin steward was absolutely wonderful. The cabin was spotless and we had no complaints. The plumbing was out one afternoon on half of the ship. It was repaired well before dinner and so not an issue for us.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

The balcony cabin was smaller than a balcony on Explorer, but of adequate size for 2 of us. the area was quiet, and convenient to stairs and elevators.

Port Reviews

Labadee

This experience was better than the last time I was at Labadee. The beach is wonderful, the water warm. Lunch service much improved since my last time there in 2013. There are armed security guards everywhere, so that should tell you something about the overall state of affairs, along with a barbed wire fence that surrounds the resort area.

Falmouth

Blue Mountain coffee is for sale in most shops. Bargain down the price.

Cozumel

this all inclusive resort is fabulous and well worth the $55 spent. They cap attendance at 100 people, so on a day when there are 5 cruise ships in port, this is important.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Easy embarkation. Well organized. Friendly staff.
