From the first moment of booking our holiday Viking looked after us. There was always a helpful person on the end of the telephone to answer any enquiry, however mundane. All arrangements were efficiently sorted and that included the visa. The thoughtful pre-cruise gifts were lovely and in the case of the document holder, extremely useful (I shall contine to use that) the entire time were were in China we were surrounded by top class Viking people from the dining staff to the Captain, the cabin crew to the guides.

This cruise involved internal flights but from the beginning we did not even have to handle our luggage, even going through the different airports. That made such a difference.

To beging our holiday we visited the bund and Old Shanghai and saw wonderfully talented acrobats. In Wuhan we went to a bell performance. Totally amazing. Read more
