Sail Date: Sep 2015

This was a "trip of a lifetime" for me. I had never been to Europe, had been on a couple of Caribbean cruises, but they in no way compare to Viking. I tell people it was like sailing on a 5 Star Hotel! The ship layout is beautiful, there was alway a quiet place to go. I found the crew and staff very pleasant, never did we walk by an employee when we weren't acknowledged. Our first night there, we had the pleasure of meeting here Captain and his wife, after we had enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the "Chef's Table". They willingly joined us and ate their dinner, and continued to chat with us for over an hour, as well as have their picture taken with us.

For the most part the excursions were great. I think Rome could have been arranged a bit differently; with allowing more time at the Collesium so we could actually go inside. Less time at the Vatican would have been okay; we had plenty of time for an inside tour.

I loved all the dinners as well; we dined at The Restaurant, Chef's Table and Manfredi's - all were fabulous! Friends were celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on this cruise, and we had a very special night at one of our dinners!

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse Veranda

I loved my cabin! It was so clean, spacious, loved the way space was maximized. A couple of days I wasn't feeling well, and was so happy to be in such a comfortable place to relax.
