My wife and I went on a cruise (her first) for our 15th anniversary. Bottom line we had an awesome time. The ship lived up to the hype. ice skating, wall climbing, full basketball court, awesome fitness center, and an awesome room with a balcony - first class all the way.

The ports were okay, I only say that because the excursions we picked were a little lackluster due to our own miserly ways. In the Bahamas we just shopped. We should have gone to Atlantis or a beach. Caution, although they tell you on the boat you'll only need your cruise card to get back on board, the Bahamian guards in full military fatigues have a different opinion. BRING your passport or whatever picture ID you have or they WILL give you trouble.

Ocho Rios - the island is very nice. We did the Dunn's River Falls/Dolphin Cove tour. Dunn's River falls is good, bring a water camera, water shoes, and nothing else - they will try to sell you everything. Dolphin Cove - skip it. Who needs a tour in the woods to see a donkey, a few birds, and a hut where thy hock caribbean coffee? Boring, waste of time. Others highlighted Margaritaville - we never had a chance to get there. Caution - the people there will hound you to buy anything and everything. many were more than pests, they were downright stalkers. I was offered everything from Island tours to drugs even with policemen within feet of me. I HATED that.
