The entire trip was just excellent. The cabins were nice, they were small, but that's to be expected on a boat. Everyone treated you as if you were royalty. The food was great. The tours were outstanding. I had a minor issue with the PA not working in my room which caused me to miss one excursion, but I got past that okay. My laundry was done fast and very professionally presented to me. The crew and the waiters were very nice. The waiters were fun, always joking, yet very professional. We had an issue where the river water was too low due to a summer drought. We had to pack up, and were bused 3 hours to an identical boat. Same cabin, same good service, same everything. We were friendly with the crew of the Engvi and were unsure of what might await us. I can't remember the name of the second boat, but the whole thing was done almost seamlessly. The boat's entertainment officer [Barry] was very talented, and always had everyone laughing. I told him I wanted to visit Scotland, and since he is Scottish, I thought he would be a good guy to talk to. He spent quite a while telling me what to see and where to go. He is one great guy. I would highly recommend Viking to anyone. Thank you for making my vacation memorable.
