Sail Date: Oct 2015

This was our 7th cruise on a Carnival ship this time we went on the Paradise. Nice ship but starting to show some age. The staff and the crew were very friendly and helpful. However Carnival is starting to get a little cheap. My husband and I are Gold card members and found out that the party they have for GOLD, Platinum and Diamond members no longer includes the Gold members. Then there are the drinks, We do not drink much but please when you are charging almost $8 per drink make then bigger, The size of the glass is quite small.

Excursions: We went to Grand Cayman and the ship had to tender on the other side of the Island so that meant taking taxis to Georgetown and then to beach. We spent $38. on taxis. But the beach was great. We also went to Cozumel and did the Secreto Cave excursion. This is a must do. Diana out guide was very nice and fun. At the end they fed us a nice authentic Mexican meal.

My husband and I do a cruise every October for our anniversary and have decided next year will not be with Carnival. We are looking at the Oasis of the sea. A little more expensive but nicer ship.
