Having cruised with Thomson before many times over the last 12 years beginning our cruise experience on the Sundream which started our love of cruising we were worried about reading some of the many derogatory reviews of Thomson Majesty.
OK it was only a week booked fairly last minute that cost us £720.00 each. The cabin was small but beautifully designed and laid out with the best powerful shower wet room style that we have ever experienced on a cruise in an inside cabin.
The whole ship was kept spotless by the staff no one who gets up after 9.30am never sees. Decks were cleaned every day and any blemishes painted. Knowing her age the ship looked the part totally when docked in any of the ports. It gleamed aside other Norwegian ships which looked positively ugly, dirty and too massive to be at all person friendly.
One of the best designed cabins we have stayed in. Matress very comfortable and we both slept well. The noises and movements are all part of the excitement about cruising for us. Sometimes I despair at people who wonder why a ship at sea moves around and that the engine makes a noise??
Wet room shower the best we have ever experienced - spotless ensuite always
clean and fresh. Maid service truly excellent.
