This holiday met all my expectations of a cruise. The entertainment was very good, with a good variety of entertainment types and different shows on offer every day. The only complaint I would have was when a show was in the Vista lounge some of the seats had no view of the stage so if going to a show there get in early. The food was wonderful, we had the anytime dining in Berlini Dining Room and also ate in the International Cafe and Horizon Court buffet and always found plenty of variety for the different tastes of our group. We did our own thing on shore mainly because we didn't want to be rushed to meet a tour. Each shore excursion offered something different and it is worth researching the ports to have a bit of an idea what to expect, the on board talks which are shown on the cabin TV give a good background if you need some more information. All the ports except Noumea will accept Australian dollars and there is a supermarket with an ATM opposite the shuttle set down in Noumea where you can get CFP. The on board service was always very good in all areas if the ship. All in all a great ship to be introduced to cruising.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BF

We travelled as 2 couples with side by side balcony cabins which meant we could have the door between balconies open which was very convenient. On level 8 we were part of the promenade deck and had people walking past our balcony which did not worry us at all. We had the Princess Theatre below us but once again this was not a problem for our group. There was plenty of storage space in the cabin with suitcases fitting comfortably under the beds and plenty of hanging space and enough shelves for our storage needs. The bathrooms are not large but work well. We had enough room to escape when we wanted some time away from other people.

Port Reviews

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

The walk to the chapel is worth the effort, a swim to cool off and a very relaxing massage.
