Sail Date: Sep 2015
Cabin: Sky Suite 1

This was our 3 time cruising on the Millie - having sailed multiple times on the Connie, Summit, Mercury, Infinity and Eclipse - this was probably our 15th cruise on =X=.

Our cruise was 15 nights, "Japan Jubilee" from Vancouver through Japan and concluding in Shanghai.

We both agree that the Millennium and her crew are the least polished and professional. We are Elite Plus and on this cruise stayed in a Sky Suite. With the Sky Suite came the much-touted, "Luminae". We read reviews, posts, saw poster's pictures, menus, etc. but what we were surprised to find was many of the menu items (just a few months before) were suddenly dropped from the menu. And suddenly, there was no Brunch in Luminae.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite 1

Cabin S1

The cabin was "refurbished" when it was "Solsticized"...but it's really tired. If you're over 6'5", reconsider as the bathtub is raised. I am 6'7" and either had to squat in the shower, or sit - or use the showers in the men's locker room.

The bed was comfortable and the amenities and service provided by our Butler, Sebastian was terrific (as an aside, we had Sebastian before, when he was a Cabin Attendant - 8 years ago on Mercury). Wonderful service!

Our neighbors on either side were pretty stuffy and unfriendly - (maybe this is another reason we didn't care for Luminae?) LOL...

Port Reviews

Vancouver

Pan Pacific was a great hotel! If sailing out of Vancouver, highly worth it. Ask for a Harbor-view room. Luggage is picked up in the morning and delivered to your ship!
