...Because that's seriously the only way to make it through the week without abandoning ship.

About us: Total of 22 cruises combined (longtime lurker on Cruise Critic), including Princess, RC, Norwegian, Holland America, and Cunard. I'd been on the Carnival Conquest back in May of 2010, and had an absolute blast. It's not gone downhill, it fell off of a cliff.

The Good: There's an excellent pub on the ship, which we found to generally not be all that crowded. The Serenity area was excellent as well, there were a couple of hammocks and it's adults only - excellent for reading. The room service menu is better than RC Navigator, which we'd taken (and loved) the year before. Embarkation was a breeze, we were on within 30 minutes of arriving at the terminal. Awesome.

Cabin 4A

It was pleasantly large, excellent water pressure, but the positive aspects end there: No bathrobe, no turn down service, sheets were scratchy, MIA room attendant, bed of granite, and the occasional surprise waft of sewage through the vents so bad we'd have to leave the room at odd times, which were were told by guest services is "normal."
