  • Destination: the South Pacific
  • Cabin Type: Oceanview

Princess cruises made our first cruise experience so perfect that we're already thinking of doing it again. Everything was so systematically done from the embarkation to the disembarkation day. We really had a hassle-free vacation but what we loved most was the warmth and kindness of the ship's crew members. Everyone made us feel so comfortable while maintaining a high level of professionalism. They are so quick and efficient too and the food was always very good.

There were just enough activities so no one gets bored.

The ship is a little old but very well maintained and we loved the classy ancient look of the interior, it was like being taken back in time.

I would definitely recommend cruising with Pacific Princess to anyone.

Cabin Review

Oceanview
Cabin OC 7007

The cabin was clean and spacious but perhaps they could clean the air-conditioning filter more often, I seem to sneeze a lot when we're in the cabin...or the carpet could be the culprit.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Tahiti (Papeete)

We live in Tahiti and we pretty know the island. Its mountains and valleys are beautiful.

Moorea

Moorea's rich marine life, beautiful white sand public beaches and magnificent ocean views from the top always make you wanna come back.

Island Tour

It was an interesting tour. Huahine is a beautiful island so rich with vegetations and we have a very nice view of the lagoon as we drive around. The tour guide spoke a little English and she sent us to the archaeological sites of the island, a pearl farm and the creek with the blue-eyed eels. All in all it was good.

Snorkeling

After the blue lagoon the guides sent us to their "natural aquarium" and wow! There were fishes of every kind.

The guides knew their job so well they know where to take you so you'd enjoy your visit of the island to the maximum level.

The blue lagoon is an hour boat ride away from where the ship anchors. It's very rich in colors, it really carries its name perfectly and is filled with baby sharks. The guides were very entertaining and the food was good too! This is really a must visit place in the island.

Bora Bora

We spent our day at the very beautiful public beach called Matira, there's a snack there where we got our ice cold local beers. It's about a 15 minute ride from where the ship anchors. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

Raiatea

In Raiatea, one way to appreciate the island's beauty is to do a short trekking to Mt. Tapioi. It takes about an hour climb and from the top you'll have an amazing view of the lagoon and you'll see the islands of Huahine, Bora-Bora and Maupiti.
