Taken many cruises in the past ... So this isn't my first rodeo. Carnival has gone downhill. Food poorer quality at all their ship locations. Major disappointment. They seem to have cut corners everywhere. Paid $20 "upgrade" for surf and turf at sit down dining. In the past it was free (included with cruise). The lobster was VERY small. Steak was very small too. Even at $20 I felt robbed. Service very slow ... Very slow. Breakfast and you want orange juice ... Good luck. Potato salad was mushy ... Disgusting. Eating became a chore because it was a search to find anything appealing. Ship had a dirty feel. Miniature golf was hitting a ball on rolling turf not affixed securely to base. Coffee sucked. Coffee you paid for not much better. Girlfriend drinks water like a fish but change in Carnival policy bans bringing own water ... Must purchase from ship. Nickle and dime everywhere. No small refrigerator in room. Girlfriend lost weight on cruise because food was so bad. Room steward was outstanding.

Cabin Review

Carpet needs replacement. Needs refrigerator. No coffee maker.

Port Reviews

Catalina Island (California)

Always love Avalon. Wish Carnival would depart late.

Ensenada

Always love Ensenada. Carnival departs way to early. Following day at sea all day.
