This new ship was clean and new on arrival. The cabin was immaculate. We booked for the shows and restaurant. However we had to wait for long periods of time for a table in the evening and had to stand outside the theatre waiting to be let in. At breakfast we ate at the buffet in the windjammer. It was packed and very difficult to find a seat. The food was cold by he time we got a seat. In the bars it was just as crowded and there was not enough staff available to serve drinks. Staff were rude and insulting. Royal Caribbean staff are usually friendly and helpful. Most were arrogant, unhelpful and insulting. The food in the Grand Restaurant was of poor quality. I ordered Duck a la' orange. I got a dry leg of duck with no sauce or orange and it was like rubber. On one day the bread rolls were hard. Wine would arrive after we had eaten our meal. In the casino I asked how to play on one of the tables. I was shocked to find the croupier insulting and trying to make me feel stupid because I didn't know the rules. When complaining to staff we were often met with a smirk. They seemed to think it was funny and made no attempt to help in any way. The adult only Zone advertised was not adult only. I was shocked at the poor standards on this ship. The tables in the bars, restaurants and pools were dirty most of the time because there was not enough staff to clear up. There was queues for everything. If this is the way Royal Caribbean are treating customers we won't be cruising again.
