  3. Celebrity Solstice
We sailed on the Celebrity Solstice from Honolulu to Sydney on the 2nd of October 2015, the Ship was magnificent, staterooms large bathrooms beyond expectation, the cleanliness all over the ship outstanding. Crew were eager to please nothing was too much trouble for them, the food was beautiful in the Buffett lots of choices. Main dinning room was good could have been a little more variety there. All in all no complaints at all about the ship or the service however Celebrity the company let the team down by putting drink prices up in Honolulu specifically for this leg of the cruise all us Aussies felt ripped off Asa social drinker it was ridiculous to buy a drinks package as that would have cost us well over 100 Australian dollars a day when u only have a couple of drinks a day just not feasible. A Bourbon and a cocktail cost us 27 Aussi dollars a rip off seeing Celebrity get alcohol duty free, and to add salt to the wound we were told that prices would be going down in Sydney for the next cruise, did all the Australians feel ripped of? You bet we did. Shore tours: Don't book any we pre booked and found that if we had of waited till we were in the various ports it would have cost us less than half of what we paid through celebrity, there were plenty of tour operators waiting on shore, tours exactly the same as the ones we had pre booked.
