Embarkation was slightly delayed by 30mins after our boarding time (3pm) not a big deal really. Cabin D130 was excellent, our steward Daniel was excellent even obtaining a memory foam pillow for me on the second day.

Cant say I was wowed on entering the ship, everything a bit boutique hotel feel but to be fair it grew on me over the trip. Being fit we didn't find the lack of midship stairs a problem just gave us the exercise we needed from eating all the great food. It would help if one lift was designated to be for wheelchair users I think.

Oriental restaurant was great. Only thing I find it a lack of veg with the meals, all looks pretty but one little piece of broccoli and 2 little carrots don't add up to your 5 a day.

Cabin Review

Cabin .

Felt a bit cramped at first but once settled in was fine, loved having the balcony which was excellent. Kept immaculate by Daniel. Great tv with plenty of films and tv shows to watch. Great bed, very comfy

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Didn't do excursion but the hop on and off bus which was easy and excellent.

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Excellent tour around colosseum and 3.5 hours of free time to look around everything else in centre of Rome. Good value
