The ship is a bit tired in places, but was very clean.

The cabins were kept exceptionally clean, cleaned twice daily, and were quite comfortable and had ensuite showers and a bath. They were a bit tired though, and 9017 did not have a second interior door; unlike 9010, which kept some of the noise from the Medusa Lounge out! However, 9010 was still noisy, although less noisy than 9017. In both cabins, members of our party were woken-up each night by loud music. And on the first night, in 9017, by drunks in the small hours.

Insufficient sun loungers on the main deck, and some are worse for wear.

Cabin Review

Cabin Delux

Cabins 9010 and 9017 are not worth the money due to their close proximity to the Medusa Lounge above them: you will hear loud music until at least midnight and as late as 12:30/01:00. Our kids were in 9010 and were woken each night by loud music.

9017 is even louder, as it is next to the gangway and does not have ain internal door which attenuates some of the noise in 9010 - T.V. volume has to be turned-up loud to hear it above the loud music. We recorded samples of the music heard in our cabin on my iPhone - when played back you can make out the lyrics of each song as well as identify the music - so it was uncomfortably loud in the cabin.

On the first night, a group of drunks decided to use the inflatable lifeboat stowage outside cabin 9017 as a bar, after the bar shut, and to sing songs at around 2 am. As no Thomson staff could be found, I got dressed and dispersed them.
