We are not "experienced" cruisers but we have been on Celebrity twice and Oceania once. So our comparison will only be relevant to those lines. We are now convinced that we will, in the future, look to book again on Azamara as we found the whole experience with them outstanding. The personalized, friendly service that can only be found on a small ship was evident with each and every member of the staff. The cabins were adequate (a face lift coming this year). Entertainment was twice nightly which was excellent for those of us who like to eat later. Dining in the specialty restaurants was a very nice experience (especially Aqualina). White Night was a real treat with a spectacular buffet, entertainment and just FUN. The port intensive cruise was just what we were looking for (with just one day at sea). We found the other passengers friendly and found it to be more "lively" than previous cruises. We traveled with two other couples. One couple had never cruised before and the other couple had never been to Europe previously. They both were thrilled with their experience with Azamara. As was I.
