First of all, let me begin by saying that I had read more than 100 reviews before we went on the Royal Princess. A big percentage of those reviews were negative or average reviews; only a few seemed to be satisfied with their Royal Princess experience. I considered switching ships/cruiseline because of the comments, but since the itinerary was exactly what we were looking for, we decided to give the Royal Princess a try; and I’m so happy we did!

Yes it’s true, there are no middle stairs, the balconies are small, there’s no aft pool, & the ship doesn’t have a wrap-around promenade deck, but my friends, the Royal Princess is one beautiful & special ship.

Let me just say that we enjoyed the ship so much that we decided to book the opposite Caribbean itinerary on the same ship for next year; something we’ve never done (repeat a ship). And we’ve been on 16 cruises before.

Great cabin. Good location, close to the forward stairs and middle elevator. Convenient, no noise issue. Would book it again.
