Did the 9 day New England and Canada cruise on the Liberty of the seas. Overall, a good cruise. I had never cruised on a larger ship like the Liberty before, but it was great. Checked in and on the ship in less than an hour. In stateroom by 1 PM. Had a stateroom with a balcony. Very comfortable, and our room attendant, Junior was great. Anything we needed, we got.

Cruise ports were Boston, Portland ME, Bar Harbor, St. John New Brunswick, and Halifax Nova Scotia. Overall, good weather on the cruise, with the exception of one day in St. John where it was cloudy and sprinkled. (But of course, that was beyond our control.)

Had 3 days at sea, with plenty of activities. My friend had fun in the casino, we did cupcake decorating classes which were a blast, The trivia contests were fun, and the shows were great. We especially enjoyed the ice show and Saturday Night fever. I wanted to see "Dancing with the stripes", a dance contest with the crewmembers, but unfortunately I missed it. I hear it was good. They had plenty of piano bars, bands, dancing and music. Also, lots of time to do absolutely nothing if you want. The promenade was good, with a good choice of shops.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E2

Cabin had one queen bed that we split into two singles. Beds were very comfortable. Had plenty of room to store our bags, and hang up our clothes. Also plenty of drawer space for the stuff we didn't hang up. Bathroom was small, but clean. Shower worked fine. Sink in the bathroom had enough room to wash our shirts and underwear, and plenty of space to hang them to dry. There was even a clothes line in the shower to hang clothes. TV worked great, with a wide selection of channels.
