Great brochure prices but be prepared to be nickle and dimed every time you leave your cabin.

As a seasoned cruiser, my third this year, I tend to be very strict about rating cruises against expectations compared to the average for the class (e.g. Carribean, 7 day, mid level). We traveled as a small group in the upper deck cabins with some of us having the drink package and others the dine around package. The drink package is an absolute must as the bar prices for mid level drinks are way over the affordability of the average passenger on low fares.

As expected the service was top notch and friendly from the room and dining stewards to the bar service. However be prepared for a hard sell on all the little stuff that now costs ala-carte dollars including little stuff like a morning mocha coffee no longer comped on a drink package.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Never enough electrical outlets for today's carry-ons. Plenty of storage places though where you can forget stuff when you leave.
