you can pretty well be assured that if everyone feels that there are things in desperate need of improvement, then there is fire beneath the smoke.
Over the past thirty five years cruising has undergone massive changes. The amenities that ships offer these days are amazing. Coupled with these fantastic improvements are the declines in other areas... the increase in costs of items that were at one time included, the continuing decline of food in the main dining areas, the constant lineups for food or services.
The best thing about the Legend of the Seas is the staff. They are excellent, hard working people who deserve a lot of credit. Having said that they are subject to the corporate culture where the bottom line is the only issue.
Inside stateroom was acceptable. Balconies and ocean view cabins were a waste of money considering the fact that views were obliterated by smoke.
