Sail Date: Oct 2015

Along with my wife we travelled down to Southampton by coach from the Tickled Trout hotel Preston on the 3rd of OCTOBER 2015·We arrived in the port at 1'30 and went through the embarkation process finally boarding the ship at 3 o clock. We had an inside cabin midship on deck 11.We were at sea for 3 days and experienced high seas and force 10 winds, not a pleasant experience·Our first port of call was Madeira and it was warm and pleasant,we stayed for 2 days then departed for the Canary Islands calling at Tenerife,Gran Canaria,Lanzarote,Lisbon and finally Vigo in Spain which along with Maderira were the jewels in the crown. The Azura which we sailed on was first class from every aspect and could not be faulted. We have travelled with P and O CRUISES before on board Ventura and found them very similar. The shopping experience in particular the ladies clothes lines appeared expensive for the quality of the merchandise. All in all we had a wonderful time and met some good friends.
