The cabin was spacious (plenty of room for us to put all our things away...but we were just two people).  The bed was situated next to the veranda door and we kept the door open almost always to hear the ocean.  The attendants were very attentive and the room was spotless everyday.

Rode in a clean tour bus up the mountain and walked around for about 30 minutes with the tour.  Had a delicious glass of wine and a cannoli...then off to free time in Taormina.  I can't imagine the town during peak season...because it was pretty crowded the day we were there which was off season but a Saturday.

Our tour started at the house of the Virgin Mary (which is not her house..it is church built where they believe the house was).  It was a beautiful experience and I am so glad we got to see it.  We then went to the ruins of Ephesus. Amazing and easy to walk (even though it said it was going to be strenuous).  Then we were treated to a buffet lunch.  Very fresh and very good.

We went to the Acropolis and to the site of the first Olympics.  The acropolis was a very strenuous walk and I have a bad knee but with the help of my husband we made it and I am so glad we did!  The tour guide was very informative and humorous.    They dropped us off in the town and we had lunch in an outdoor cafe.  Great experience.

We enjoyed this excursion but we wished it was earlier.  We started out taking a tender and getting on a tour bus that zigzagged up the mountain.  Our first stop was a winery and they gave you cheese, crackers, olives and tomatoes as well as as much wine to taste as you would like.  Beautiful views and the wine and snacks were delicious.  Then it was onto the town of Oai and even more beautiful views.  We had some free time to walk on our own but most of that time was trying to find the cable car and standing in the hour long line to get back down the mountain before the ship left.  I would recommend this excursion but try to make sure you do it early so you have time in the town for pictures and lunch.

We just got off the ship and walked around.  Had a very good lunch and got back onto the ship.

Mykonos

This tour was about $62 (US) per person.  We had a very passionate tour guide and we set off walking to the old town (maybe a half mile away from the ship).  Our first stop was the castle and it went downhill from there.  The ticket to get into the castle was 6 euros...out of the 158 rooms you were only allowed to see 6 and they had VERY LITTLE INFO other than the mosaic floors.  Neither the tour guide nor the people along the way that worked in the castle could tell you what the room was used for or whether the furniture was original furnishings for the castle.  We were with a group of people (10) and we all just said thank you and went off on our own.  My husband and I went to explore the town and found a great place for coffee and then found a resort and had lunch.  Would highly recommend that you avoid this tour...we did complain when we got back and the excursion desk did get us a little of our money back.  I think we should have gotten all of it back.

What a beautiful drive to Sorrento.  This was mostly just transportation to the city and we walked for a couple of hours on our own...had pastry and coffee at an outdoor "bar" and then met up with the bus to go back to the ship.  Easy walking town and very friendly people and shop owners.  The ship is docked across the street from a castle and then beyond that castle is Naples.  We went walking and had NO problems with pick pockets (as you are warned to avoid on the ship).  We went into this area which was a lot of shopping and restaurants.  We had fried fish, shrimp and octopus in a cone...then found a restaurant right across from the water...with a view of Mt. Vesuvius...we had pizza and wine.  What a great experience.

We got to Rome the day before the ship sailed.  We went to the Coliseum and the Spanish Steps...it was raining so it wasn't very crowded.

The ship (Reflection) was clean, the cabin (7334) was spacious (plenty of room for us to put all our things away...The Shore Excursion desk was helpful but didn't get us a full refund and that was a little disappointing.
