I'm a loyal Carnival Funatic. This ship was just fine for a 5 day mini vacay. The crew was courteous, professional, friendly and downright entertaining as with all Carnival ships. As always, the food in all dining areas was delicious. Our interior cabin was clean, and comfortable. The sail away party was memorable, and my Miami Vice from the bar was always perfect with the just the right amount of Miami and Vice.

We're realists though, and we understood that this was an older and smaller ship, and that there were some features that would not be comparable to Carnival's midsize ships that we usually sail. The muster drill took an hour while on the midsize ships it usually takes about 20 minutes. The lifeboats are at eye level blocking views from the side deck areas. A slight smell of cigarette smoke lingered in all common areas except the main dining room. I dont recall experiencing that on the midsize ships that we have sailed. I would definitely sail on this ship again. Nothing in life is perfect, and there is not one disappointing ship in the Carnival fleet.
