Old, tired, needs a burst of energy. Both my husband and myself are early 50's and we were the youngest on board. The dining options are outdated as your not allowed in the restaurants if you haven't got a jacket. All my husbands shirts are smart but because he didn't have a tie or jacket we were not allowed in, this meant we had to dine in the buffet every night. The choice of food was extremely limited, themed nights, ie Indian Asian etc if you didn't like that tough luck. Some bars were the same, it was all too stuffy. The bars we were allowed in you were jumped on the moment you sat down, every couple of minutes you were asked if you wanted a drink, when your glass was half empty there they were again, it was too pushy. We work hard all year and look forward to our holidays but were made to feel second class regarding dress standards. The cabins were OK they were clean but the bathrooms need refurbishing especially the toilets. Some of the entertainment was brilliant a young acapello band called The Octaves, they were excellent, but the comedian called Micky Zany his jokes were as old as him ( not amusing). All in all it was a break but nothing fantastic, we will not travel with P and O again we will stick to Royal Carribbean.
