The Hotel in Paris - Le Meridien was being renovated and you could hear all the work being done early in the morning above us. We had the furthest room from the elevators and took 20 minutes just to get to the Lobby. Hotel breakfast was good. Hotel Staff was attentive. Everything else in Paris was lovely. Vikings tour of the city was fine. We departed for Luxembourg and had an excellent guide. However, our bus broke down and we had to wait for another and transfer luggage, etc. It all turned out for the best because we got to the US military burial site from WW II late in the day and saw the lowering of the flag and hear the Taps anthem which was a plus and a highlight. The boat - Odin and the food were great. Cruise was very enjoyable. All the tours were wonderful especially Heidleberg. Only comments would be - staying in the cities longer and giving more free time. The only main problem was that the boat runs on "German time" and they are too precise and not very understanding (example - they don't wait one minute past the time of departure and a couple missed the boat and had to take a taxi to the next port - it was not us but it was embarrassing for the couple) and the cruise director sometimes did not make herself very clear announcing the tour and to get off the boat. One time the boat was still moving and we did not realize it was time to get off because of unclear announcement (in fact they pride themselves on not making a lot of announcements however this just causes more confusion). I was devastated that we missed the tour and was crying and no one on the boat at guest relations did anything nice for me and it was my Birthday. I felt a small gesture would have been nice and they were not very considerate based on the amount of money we paid for the cruise. All the tours we did go on were conducted professionally with very knowledgeable guides. The Prague Hilton was a very nice hotel with an outstanding breakfast buffet - i.e. Nutella muffins. The hotel was not in the city center however and we thought this was a problem at first until we learned our way around. Prague was very beautiful and great city to visit. Another thing I liked were sometimes when we boarded back to the boat they offered drinks and or snacks/refreshments, this was a nice touch. They always provided water which was most appreciated. No fitness center on board was a drawback.

Cabin Review

Cabin
We were on the 3rd floor. Cabin is nice, but could be a bit bigger. It is small when you are trying to also fit your luggage in the room. The decor is nice. The balcony is great.
