As an experienced traveller, I was looking forward to my first RC cruise. There were definitely positives, but also a few large negatives.
Food - good selection, no complaints. Not excellent food but definitely good. Windjammer has long wait times in peak hours.
Dining room - slow service. Disappointed by attire on formal nights ... people wearing Jean shorts, etc were allowed in.
Ship - beautiful. Well maintained, huge, very spectacular
Staff - overall excellent. Friendly and informative. Only negative is the up selling that is a constant on this ship - staff are always trying to get you to spend more money.
Spa - average. Massage was ok. Tried to up sell many expensive spa products after. Very pushy when I said no thanks. One lady said "if you cared about your health you would buy this"
Huge corporate group - the group from omni life (over 3000 people) were awful. These people were pushy, rude, inconsiderate, entitled.. and did not even pay for their cruise!!!! It shocked me that RC catered so many activities to this group who were on a free trip instead of people spending hard earned money for their vacation. Many many people on the ship complained about this group. Hopefully royal carribean will recognize that having such a huge group on board is detrimental to the experience of the other guests ... especially this incredibly rude and disrespectful group.
Overall - ports were amazing and the ship was great ... large group ruined it for many people ... would never travel with RC again if they were having a large corporate group on board.
