We have sailed on the MSC Divina in the Caribbean and was very pleased - however, our cruise in the Mediterranean was VERY disappointing. The ship is beautiful and well maintained - however, the food was TERRIBLE - the menu completely changed since our last sailing - food preparation AWFUL - even the servers, while nice and polite, seemed to get everything wrong!! The shows, while in the Caribbean were wonderful, we felt they fell short here on this cruise - 2 nights of the sailing no shows at all!! Also, the fact , which we were unaware of when booking this cruise, that people were getting on and off the ship at every port, was very annoying - truthfully, had we known this was their practice, might not have booked on this ship - having people and luggage clogging up the lobby every port day was not what we were expecting. There are many ships in the Mediterranean and we would definitely NOT go on MSC in the future!
The cabin was comfortable - would have liked a couch in the room - balcony was large and very nice - bed comfortable, but they need new pillows - the pillows were lumpy! Bathroom very nice - no stall shower - shower in bathtub.
Enjoyed our tour to Lucca and farm house for a wine tasting - very nice day!
We took the bus to town, and walked around this beautiful city on our own.
Alice gave us a wonderful private tour of Cannes and the old city of Nice - stopping at a look-out point for a picnic lunch
Lovely tour of Amalfi coast, Positano and Sorrento - especially enjoyed guided tour of Pompeii
This was a free tour with a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide - enjoyed - we gave our tour guide a very nice and well deserved gratuity at end of tour.
Amazing!! guided tour was informative and interesting
