A group of six of us went in a week cruise to the western Caribbean including stops at Labadee, Falmouth, and Cozumel. We all had a blast and it was our first time sailing with Royal Caribbean. We would definitely sail with them again and would not blink an eye at going on Oasis again. It was an awesome ship with tons to do. Seemed like there was too much to do sometimes and we found it hard to just relax lol. Even though there was north of 6k people on board it never felt that like there were. We had no problems getting food or on and off the ship at port. The food was pretty good in th MDR but the specialty restaurant chops we ate at one night was amazing! We sail on celebrity mostly and we think the food in MDR is better than RC. They aren't cooking for 6 thousand people though either.
We had park view balcony facing Central Park in the middle of the ship. I wasn't sure how I would like this from a privacy stand point. It ended up not being too bad. The rooms across the way are far enough away you don't feel like you are being watched. I don't think we used our balcony as often as we usually do though because of it. Next time I might just book an ocean view or inside cabin instead and save money.
Snorkeling in Cozumel was the highlight. We booked a trip with tortuga Carey (they are on trip advisor). Super cool guides and small 6-8 person groups.
