This was our second time with CMV. Last year we went to Iceland on Marco Polo, this time we were on Magellan, calling at Amsterdam, Hamburg, Helsingborg, Copenhagen and Aalborg. We are planning to travel cruise with them again. We have previously been on Royal Caribbean and Carnival out of the US.

CMV have two big advantages for us - embarking at Tilbury, less than 2 hour's drive away, and the fact that they do not cater for children. On top of that, they give good value for money. Whether or not it will suit you depends on your expectations.

Embarkation - we parked at Tilbury. Parking staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful. One set of buses to take people to the ship and another set to take the luggage. We arrived at our specified time and were on board within 40 minutes of arriving at the car park.

Cabin Review

Cabin Junior Suite

Very spacious and comfortable with balcony, as you would expect from a suite.
