In some fairness,,,part of the problem with this cruise was that I was decieved.....told I had won a free cruise...I asked if it was a time share, the direct response was "no" that they gave away these trips to let people know about their vacation properties. I was then given a free cruise, with some time on Grand Bahamas at a resort. Then offered opportunities to upgrade, and the total upgrades cost me around two thousand dollars, not including airfare, and overnight at a hotel, which I had to pay in addition. I was stupid. So, when I arrived in Florida, to find it was required that I attend a "short presentation" on time shares, needless to say I was quite surprised, and no vouchers would be given unless I attended. So, I got up to attend and get the supposed "free breakfast" and attend presentation. Breakfast was non existant, some dry muffins and coffee. The short presentation was over five hours long, and I was verbally pushed and pushed by three sales people sitting around me ( I was by myself ) Two men and a woman. Like I said, when I left there, I noted it was a quarter of three on my phone. I got there at 8:30 am. I finally turned my back on them, got my book out of my purse, and told them to let me know when my vouchers were available.

When I finally boarded ship, went to spa for mani and pedi shortly after boarding, the electricity went out. Cold food was served, no air conditioning, and ship at midnight was still in port, broken down due to lack of electricity. I am not certain when we left port, but for the entire trip there was no air conditioning. I had my so called "free" cabin deep down in ship, no windows, no airflow. I along with many other passengers spent the night on deck due to no air conditioning. I went for and had a lovely time at Grand Lucayan Resort, and dreaded getting back on the ship for return trip, but did. It was ok, but already spoiled by events as mentioned above. Miserable trip. Just miserable.. Would give it zero stars if I could. I am a frequent cruiser, and hate to think that first time cruisers would think of this as your typical cruise vacarion.......it most definitely is not. When trying to get on ship in Florida, very disorganized, and dis interested employees. I have stood in long lines to board ships before.....but this was ...... well.......stupid. I should have figured it out right then and left.

Cabin Review

Just dark and worn out. I cannot remember my cabin number.

Port Reviews

Freeport

Had a good time there, stayed over at Grand Lucayan, nice time. Food...another story, but I had a great time.
