We had a very enjoyable time on the Dawn. We booked the cruise only 5 weeks out and chose a guaranteed inside cabin. We ended up in an ocean view. Drove to Quebec City from Montreal. We had purchased the transfer package to get from the airport to the ship in Quebec and from the ship to the airport in Boston. The transfer process could have been better at both ports. Seems that the outfit handling the transfer from the airport to the ship at Quebec forgot they had to send a bus. One was eventually sent after the NCL agents called multiple times. Then the driver was not sure where he had to go to get to the port. Ended up getting on board around 2:00 pm. Long line going through security at the port but it moved fairly quickly.

The Dawn itself is a very beautiful ship. Very nice public areas. Lots of bright attractive décor. The ports of call were great as were the shore excursions. You never have enough time to do everything you want to do on an excursion but that is typical.

Our cabin was excellent. The cabin steward though seemed to be new to his job and would not see that things like towels, tissues, bath mats were sometimes missing and needed. We had no trouble getting them if we needed them, just had to ask. Read more
