Cabin: Balcony

Embarkation was quick and well organised, loved our cabin with balcony on deck 8 just had to step outside and go up to deck 9 to the pool area, bar and spa, or jump in the lift to go down to the coffee shop on deck 2 for my morning cuppa. Our room steward did a great job and we enjoyed all the towel animals each night.

Dined mostly in the main dining room and the food was very nice, and menu quite varied although the drink service could improve. The buffet on Lido was a bit hit and miss at times and people were a bit grubby not using the sanitisers, saw one lady pick up a pie and then put it back with her bare hands.

We did the Chef's Table which was absolutely amazing and so worth the additional cost, also did the Long Lunch at Sea which was very good value.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8F

Cabin was quite roomy and everything worked OK. Loved the location on the top deck forward although was a bit apprehensive after reading reviews of people who suggest lower is better if you get seasick. Luckily I didn't so all was good. Did not use the balcony as much as I thought I would but it was nice to have it there anyway.

Port Reviews

Tahiti (Papeete)

Great place just to wander around and explore, good markets. Ate at the roulottes for dinner and the food was very nice and cheap.

Noumea

Loved Noumea and just walked around exploring and did some shopping. Found a nice restaurant for lunch called "The Best Café" and the food was nice and they had free wifi.
