I have been on a number of cruises and the Viking Star outshines them all. The food he staff the ports were all head and shoulders above by other cruise line I have been on. The cabin was first class. The food was unbelievable, it was my first time to have spent my time at dinner in the buffet rather than the dinning room, in the buffet I got split crab, prime rib, and steak every night along with wing and gelato who could ask for more on most cruise line you went to the dining room for the better meals not on the Star the Premium meals were in the Buffet and I did not have to dress up for dinner.

Our room had a King sized bed TV nd our room sreward was the best he got me just the right amount of water for my cpap an he beds were made up when we got back to our room every day. We were not charged extra for wifi as on other lines and the access was great. We also were not charged for the tours and the ones we paid for were reasonable and wonderful.

The wine at meals was complimentary and the drinks were reasonable in other words we did not come home it a huge bar bill.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

This was only our second balcony cabin and we liked it although we did not us the balcony often. We are not extra agent travelers but we felt like we were treated as such by the Viking staff.
