For the most part, our cruise was acceptable. We were part of a group that had its own activities so we did not partake of most of the activities of the ship. The weather was rough for the first 2 days and many people were sick. It was difficult to maintain balance at times since we had hurricane Joaquin at our back. The service was excellent in the Magenta dining room and the food was excellent and artfully presented. We had breakfast with a group in the Grand Pacific dining room one morning and would never do that again. I had to go through the waitress, Ass't Maitre D' and the Head Maitre D' just to get a glass of OJ and that took over 35 minutes. Pancakes were served without any kind of syrup and had to request that and wait another 10 minutes.

As for the shops, it was like walking through a flea market with vendors hawking business and trying to lure customers in. They had a captive audience. That kind of behavior was unwarranted. The embarkation and debarkation went off without a hitch and was done as it should be done, efficiently and professionally. This is the second time we have sailed with NCL and it's not our first choice for cruising but it was adequate. For the price paid, it should be exemplary though. As for the shows, we saw two of them. The magic show was cheesy and not worth the time. The musical stage show was good but short. It ran between 35-45 minutes.

Cabin OB

Cabin was adequate. Beds were comfortable and toilet/shower was workable.
