Pamela (head of housekeeping) was on it! She had our beds separated , a broken door to the mini-bar fixed immediately. One time the toilet didn't flush - panic!, but she had that fixed within 1/2 hr. too. Otherwise the entertainment was the best in a long time and we absolutely enjoyed the cruise to the max. My only complaint really is the split shifts they've assigned the cabin attendants. They are not available as often and we didn't know ours at all or what he even looked like. So they can't possibly get to know your routine.
They did have an ice carving demo - fun because there is no place to put one now. The dining room was our preference because the buffet is a mad house at all times and the food was not up to par there. If you can't have fun on this cruise there's something wrong with YOU. I don't know why Manzanillo replaced Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo but it was not a good place or tour. The port is very industrial. The tour was boring. All in all very relaxing trip!
The balcony cabins are a little larger on this ship I believe. Plenty of room with a coffee pot and mini-bar. Service was good but we had to wait a few times for him and find something else to do while he finished up/or turned down.
We had car service from the house to port. Doesn't get any better than that.
Saw old town, downtown and Diamante district.
Port too industrial - nothing but big condo's and hotels. Not much happening. Should go back to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo.
My favorite place in Mexico. I got a lot of presents from the religious store across the street from the cathedral.
Can't scuba dive or snorkel anymore so the yellow submarine is the best alternative to see underwater without getting wet or exposed.
