My wife and I are seasoned cruisers having been on more than a few Carnival ships starting with Ecstasy on our honeymoon in 1993 for two weeks and have continued the tradition on many anniversary's since.

This year found us on Carnivals Conquest in an inside cabin (first since 1993) and found it small but adequate. I missed the space and sun of the balcony but you couldn't beat the price.

The pool deck had two bars, the blue iguana and the red frog, serving tequila and rum specialties. Both the bar and deck service were excellent and the music was loud and lively all day provided by both bands and DJ. There were also two new food options on the pool deck which both deserve high praise. There's a taco and burrito bar that also does breakfast and rarely has a line in the morning, so if you want to avoid the buffet herd, try some huevos rancheros or a breakfast burrito. On the other side there's Guy Fieri's burger joint which had the best burgers In.The.World. I was hard pressed not to have one every day, they were that good. The buffet was OK but usually pretty crowded and the dining room was efficiently run and service was great despite a lackluster menu, but hey its the party ship right?

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4B

Extremely average with very little room. I usually dressed first so i could get out of the cabin so my wife would have some space to get ready to go out at nite which is exactly the opposite of how we would normally do it. bathroom and closet space were both fine however counter space was lacking and there was nowhere to relax.

Port Reviews

Curacao

In curacao we had the luxury of a 1 pm arrival and 11pm departure, so after a leisurely stroll through the downtown area we hired a lightning bus for two bucks ahead to take us to moomba beach which is near the seaquarium and has shops as well as a trendy beach bar and pool.after a drink I explored up the beach a bit and found an awesome and much more affordable tiki style dive bar with great music called wet and wild. Had a great time.

Aruba

A little bit tired from our day in curacao, spent the afternoon in Iguana Joe's drinking local beer and eating keshi yena
