This is the first time we have been on a cruise. Good points are, fabulous staff and cleanliness, nice, basic compact room. we had concierge, which was a waste of money, and good food most of the time.
Bad points are expensive and not too great tours. The one in Portugal was visiting statues to photo then, on the bus to the next statue or monument, with a break to visit Starbucks or macdonalds.
You want water it's 6.50, a beer 8.50 to 11 euros each. You want wifi? It's 299 euros EACH for the two weeks.
You want a relaxing breakfast...lots of variety but try finding a vacant seat, it's a feeding frenzy!
Be prepared to be approached every day to buy fancy dinners at expensive prices. They encourage you to buy alcohol on board to take back, but you can't drink it on board and it's far cheaper to buy from a port plus you can bring far more back if you don't buy on board.
Although the cruise says its to Rome, Florence etc, they actually land at least an hours to an hour and a halfs journey away from these places.
So...all in all a mixed experience, but not likely we would go again. Too expensive for what you get.
Clean fairly basic but ok.
